The cottage is level to the lake in a fairy-tale setting with spectacular landscaping, flower beds, walkways and a fire pit. Property is enhanced with a full sized dock, a large deck fronting the cottage and a sun deck on the lakeshore with a must see Tiki Bar.
The main floor is open concept with stone fireplace, hardwood floors and cathedral pine ceilings - a comfy setting to sit and relax; to read or watch tv, socialize or just view the lake. The open concept kitchen is a fully equipped gourmet kitchen with all stainless steel appliances (gas stove and cook-top) and granite throughout. Wifi is also available.
Adjoining the kitchen is the dining room with large dining room table (seats up to 14), plus seating at the island with a walk-out to the deck for outdoor eating...gourmet style barbeque with in-line propane on deck. Lots of deck furniture including a large hammock.
Master bedroom has a King size bed with ensuite and walk-out to deck overlooking the lake and a TV. The second bedroom, also on the main floor, has a Queen size bed. Upstairs, the loft has a Lazy Boy Queen size pull-out bed plus beautiful sitting area overlooking the great room and lake. Large bedroom/suite on lower level boasts a Queen size bed and separate walk-out entrance.
There are 2 luxury bathrooms, master bedroom ensuite features large shower with rain-shower head and granite seat, main level bathroom is elegantly decorated, beautiful slate and granite bathroom. Both bathrooms have heated flooring.
Full-size stainless steel washer and dryer in separate laundry room on main floor. Bright and airy screened-in porch.
This property also features a 700 sq. ft. Lake House above the garage with 2 large bedrooms; one with a King size bed and the other with bunk beds (Single over Double) and there is also a large powder/ bathroom (toilet and vanity only) overlooking the lake. Perfect for guests or young family with children. The "Lake House" is not available year round.....available in hi and interim seasons only.
Just 5 mins. from the Haliburton Forest and Wildlife Reserve with miles of hiking, and snowmobiling trails, astronomy and wolf observatories. Great neighbors on both sides, with lots of parking space!

Everything was just perfect. We were so impressed by how organized everything was, from the information binder to the labels on all the light switches!
The colours were spectacular and the area was just so gorgeous and peaceful, so absolutely perfect for our “Thanksgiving†getaway “ and Anniversary.
I love to cook and the kitchen was loaded with everything you could possibly think of! We truly enjoyed every moment.
