Wake up to the sound of loons calling on the lake, spend your days soaking up the sunshine, exploring the lake by kayak or canoe, or diving into the crystal clear water off the dock..then at night enjoy the beauty of the night skies with no light pollution.

Built in 2016 and finished to a high standard, the cottage accommodates up to 6 adults and 4 children in four bedrooms. It comprises 3200 sq ft of living space and is set on just under 3 acres with a fabulous 463ft of shoreline, so is very private. The cottage has been lovingly finished with many reclaimed wood features.

Sheltered in a large bay on Percy Lake, the property faces south, so the dock gets sun all day and into the evening. The bay makes for calm, flat water, yet the cottage still benefits from lovely lake breezes.

The cottage comprises an open concept main floor with a generous living /dining/kitchen area and features a wood-burning fireplace and stunning views over the lake and the property. The fully equipped kitchen has a gas stove (hob and oven), granite countertops, dishwasher, large fridge freezer and many small appliances. The screened in room contains a large teakwood table and eight teakwood chairs. Pretty lighting makes this a magical place for evening conversation.

The main floor master bedroom has views over the lake and the forest. It features a king bed and an ensuite with a tub, large shower and double vanity.

Also on this floor is a mudroom and walk-in pantry (with microwave and additional small fridge) and a powder room.

The spacious walkout lower level boasts 9ft ceilings throughout and has an additional 3 bedrooms (2 queens with a view of the lake and another with twin beds and bunks) There is a full bathroom on this level and a large seating area with a gas fireplace, TV (with HDMI), DVD/Blu Ray player, Xbox 360 and numerous games and dvds. There is a Bluetooth music system with CD player. There are also plenty of board games and books available for renters enjoyment.

The cottage has a generous cedar deck with bar-style teak table and two high chairs, a teak sun lounger, a conversation set, and a propane barbeque. There is a beautifully landscaped gravel and stone fire pit area with muskoka chairs and views over the lake.

At the shoreline there is a newly constructed over-sized shoreline deck, with 4 sun loungers and a ramp down to a floating 10 x 12 dock with a swim ladder. There are approximately 12 steps down the dock area and also an additional path to the shoreline and the canoe/kayak rack. Additional paths along the shoreline lead to sandy shallow entry spots (good for paddling but not gradual entry)

Percy Lake is a pristine lake with excellent fishing, nestled in beside Algonquin Park and is approximately 35 minutes from the town of Haliburton. There is a boat launch on the lake if you wish to bring your own boat.

The rental includes a good quality canoe and stand -up paddleboard and 2 kayaks and a new fishing kayak with rudder plus an assortment of outdoor games including a badminton and volleyball net.

Guests are asked to provide their own bed linens and towels. Pets allowed on request. No smoking.
